My goal as a childcare provider and a mother is to create a safe environment that is nurturing. In order to meet these goals, it is beneficial having my day planned and implemented following a routine with some flexibility. To me quality childcare is found in a program that tends to the needs of the children in all areas of their development, emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. In order to meet these needs and keep the children engaged, I offer activities that are age appropriate and of interest to the children. It is in early childhood where we form our earliest friendships and experiences. The low ratios within home daycare allow for many close bonds and secure attachments to be formed.
